You speak it.
You just never learned to read it.
A live reading course for teenagers and adults who grew up speaking Odia or Bangla but can’t read the script. Six weeks, a real teacher, a small batch of learners your own age — from your first letter to reading a passage aloud.

Why it matters
It’s never too late to read your own language.
Maybe you grew up in an English-medium school, or far from home, and reading your mother tongue was the one thing that slipped. You speak it every day — but a letter from a relative, a line of Tagore, a temple inscription, a card to your own child stays just out of reach. In six weeks, a real teacher takes you from your first letter to reading a passage aloud. You already know the language. This is only its script.
How it works
Live teaching, gentle practice, a real finish line.
One live class a week
A focused ~35-minute Zoom session for six weeks, in a small adult batch so you’re never lost in a crowd.
A few minutes a day
Short daily practice on WhatsApp between classes — read a word aloud, trace a letter. Fits around work and family.
A teacher who adapts
The teacher tracks exactly which letters trip you up and brings them back until they’re yours. No child’s pace, no judgement.
You graduate
On the last day you read a passage aloud and earn a named certificate. Proof you closed the gap.
“Can’t I just use a free app?”
An app can’t hear you read.
Tracing apps drill letters in isolation. They never hear you read a word aloud, never notice the two letters you keep confusing, and never get you to an actual sentence. A live teacher does.

Questions
Good things to know.
Will I be in a class with children?
No. Adult and teen learners have their own separate batches, scheduled at their own times and taught at an adult pace. You’re with peers, not in a kids’ class.
I speak the language but can’t read a single letter. Is that okay?
That’s exactly who this is for. We start from the very first letter and assume no reading at all. Speaking is all you need to begin.
How much time does it take?
One ~35-minute live class a week for six weeks, plus a few minutes of daily practice on WhatsApp. Built to fit around work and family.
What ages is the adult track for?
Teenagers through adults — and grandparents are very welcome. If you can speak the language, you can join. (For ages 6–11, see our children’s courses.)
How do I join?
